Paranoid Lama Illustration

I've always though lamas were kind of sketchy looking. They always look so laid back and relax, without a care in the world. There's where the paranoid lama came from. This lama is the complete opposite. She thinks the government is out to get her.... yeah the lama is a her by the way. She has a lot of conspiracy theories in her head and knows the black helicopters are keeping a close eye on her. Don't get to close she may bite you. Actually don't get to close to any of them, they look like they could bite hard.

Is better if you register for their mailing list, that way they'll let you know as soon as it opens up. This is going to be a very fun workshop. I can't wait to see how you costumize my creations. Don't forget is Sept. 20th.

"Sea Monster" Workshop

Finally the last creature for the workshop is done. He was suppose to be a mean and scary Sea Monster but ended looking more like a cute and friendly Sea Horse. I like him better that way. Gives me the chance to pet him without having my arms ripped off.

How it works out
So far, the idea is that attendants to the event have the ability to create one of these tree creatures. With the help of the "workshop teacher" Amanda, and some other people that will be there to help. I'll be one of those other people.
How do you attend this show you ask? Well that is easy! The one and only thing you have to do is go here and register. Well I guess after that you also have to show up to the actual event. But you know what I mean. On a side note, some of these events tend to get booked very quickly since the space is very limited (20 people limited). So you don't want to wait for the last minute to try and register. Don't be mad at me if you do wait and then there is no space. I did warn you. Multiple times.

Minimal skill is required to create these creatures. Some are bit more difficult than others but don't be afraid they are not hard. My idea was to create cute creatures that everybody could customize to their liking and have fun while making them. So come and have fun making a naked chef/naked farmer/naked space man or a dumb yeti or a sea monster/sea horse. You can even change them to be something more your style. Can't wait to see the new creations!

Workshop Coming Soon!

Best Friends! ...or Food source?

Explanation needed?

Every month the Bear and Bird Gallery is host to the Bear and Bird Workshops. Recently they started an artist series. Where a guest artist creates a unique pattern especially for the workshop. Rosanna Pereyra kicked off the series with the cutes little stuffed bears. They were super fun to make. Coming up is my turn and my theme is Mythical Creatures. tan ta ta tan!!! ...that sounded way better in my head. Before I forget, I'm working on a 3rd pattern for this workshop, something in the realm of Sea Monster. Just want to make sure to give everybody creative options.
If you are in the area and would like to participate in this workshop or upcoming workshop join their mailing list. This way they can let you know when the next one is coming up and you don't miss it and cry a little. (yeah, that's never pretty).

Stitch Wars Stickers

Series available in my shop.

Stitch Wars Stickers

I have a new set of stickers coming soon based on of my plush submissions to the Stitch Wars show. Most of these illustrations I originally created for the patterns, then I put color to decided the fabric. Is a bit more time consuming this way, but then I have a good idea of how the final plush should and mostlikely look like.

I'm not sure the quantity of sticker I'll be getting but I'm definitely planing on putting them up and giving them to friends. I'll have to cut them by hand and then spray them with some UV resistant gloss stuff. If you are interested in a trade let me know. They are close to 3 inches tall.
