Wednesday, March 23 starting at 8:00pm I'll be participating in the famous Art Nouveau's live art show at the Lounge (West Palm, FL). I used to do this event all the time when I lived in Florida. They are always an awesome party with a bunch of talented artists and surprises.

Last night I was working on some illustrations for the event, my very own Cat in the Hat and Thing 1 Thing 2. If you are not making it to the show, you'll have to wait until after the event to see them. I'll be turning those illustrations into stickers and other printed items. I am expecting to also have some Grinch plush and maybe some other Dr. Seuss characters. You'll have to come to the art show to see them as well and to find out what else I come up with.

Music & Art Festival

I am very excited to announce that I will be participating in the first annual Palm Beach Music & Art Festival presented by Art Nouveau. This event will be taking place Saturday November 6 from 4-11pm at Meyer Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, FL. It's a free event with a lineup of local bands and one of my favorites "Leading The Heroes". I will be working really hard this month to bring some new and fun creatures. I hope to see you all there.

Zombie Bear included in the New Times slideshow for Art Nouveau's EXPOSED live art show. He was a birthday commissioned piece that debuted that night. So happy to see that he was welcomed with open arms to a new loving home.

Umpa Lumpas

I'm currently working on the patters for two Umpa Lumpa plush. These characters are for the upcoming art show, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Gallery. Both designs are based on the original character from Willy Wonka and the Chcocolate Factory. The first plush is will be wearing their traditional outfits. The second design is wearing the white suit from the Wonka-Vision scene. You know when the loud-cowboy kids gets stuck in the TV.

Art Nouveau presents CARNIVAL: a freaky live art group show! Over 20 artists creating and exhibiting: photography, painting, body painting, stenciling, spray painting and more, including Carnival performers! This is my first show of the 2010 season! This show is different from any show I have previously done. This is a LIVE show. Yes! I will be creating new art right in front of your eyes!!! That's why is called a Live Art Show!
