Luchador Giveaway Winner

So, the winner of the Luchadores Giveaway bundle is... (pause for dramatic effect)... which includes a set of the limited edition Luchadores Series 2 stickers, a set of the Sugar Skulls stickers and 2 Luchador prints is... Khah Swee Teoh!!!

Luchadores Giveaway

It's been a while since my last post bu I have been keeping busy... visit my facebook, tumblr, etsy, and flickr.

This is the official announcement of the Limited Edition Luchadores Series 2 stickers. This is a limited print of 40 sets of stickers. Each set has 6 different Luchadores in it. To celebrate this new launch and because Cinco De Mayo (May 5) is just around the corner I am having a giveaway were one lucky fan can win an Octokitty Luchadores bundle. Included in this prize is one set of the Limited Edition Luchadores Series 2 stickers, one set of the brand new Sugar Skulls stickers and 2 of my favorite luchadores prints. This is a must have for any Lucha Libre, masked wrestler fan!

This giveaway takes place in my facebook art page and goes until Saturday May 5, better known as Cinco de Mayo! The winner will be selected at random from all the submissions, and announce on Facebook, Monday May 7.

Harry Potter characters

These are some characters I illustrated for a Harry Potter set of stickers. I decided to do the kids and one of my favorite background characters Nymphadora Tonks. Sorry, no professors or my favorite character Severus Snape. I hope you enjoy the illustrations though. :)

These are some of the new items I am creating for Stitch Rock Indie Fair, in Delray Beach, FL.

I've been wanting to be part of this fair for years, but never had the guts to apply for it. This year I finally did and now I am really looking forward to it... freaking out a little but excited at the same time. I am sure I'll learn a lot from it.

The Winner Is...

Stickers details:
Luchadores Series 1 Sticker set, it's a VERY limited print of vinyl stickers, less than 20 sets. There are 7 different mask wrestlers on the set. Two of these characters will stay a mystery until the lucky buyer or challenge winner opens their set.

These stickers are printed on a vinyl like paper and cut by hand. Each sticker is between 4" to 4.5" tall. They come carefully packed in a plastic bag, and shipped surrounded by cardboard to avoid any bends. If you want to skip the challenge and buy your own set the the price f is $7. Star Wars Stickers

The New "Star Wars" sticker set is done and for sale in my etsy store. This new set has 8 different stickers and adds slave Princess Leia to the collection.

Star Wars Stickers 2.0

If you have been reading this blog a while you know I haven talking about making a new set of my original Stitch Wars stickers. I have done multiple reprints and a new series has been long overdue. Started in 2008 by graphic designer and all around crafty girl Jen Pepper. Upstate Fancy is dedicated to bringing you a glimpse of things that really stand out from independent designers, artists, and all around crafty people. Sometimes is serious, sometimes it’s silly, but it’s always short and sweet. Just like that peice of vegan treats cake I had the other day, $6.50 for a piece of cake? Now that’s upstate fancy.

Today I spent most of the night creating the OctoKitty button set and pairing them with some OctoKitty stickers I already had. These sets are for sale in my etsy store.

Stitch Wars Stickers

I have a new set of stickers coming soon based on of my plush submissions to the Stitch Wars show. Most of these illustrations I originally created for the patterns, then I put color to decided the fabric. Is a bit more time consuming this way, but then I have a good idea of how the final plush should and mostlikely look like.

I'm not sure the quantity of sticker I'll be getting but I'm definitely planing on putting them up and giving them to friends. I'll have to cut them by hand and then spray them with some UV resistant gloss stuff. If you are interested in a trade let me know. They are close to 3 inches tall.
